"I had am amazing time and much success at the Tokyo International Art Fair and look forward to coming back again next year! I made a ton of connections with various galleries, collectors and spectators. I sold 6 paintings, 5 paintings were sold to collector Shinichiro Tsumuraya who bought a variety of work from many artists at the Fair. I also sold tons of postcards, buttons, stickers and smaller work to spectators and artists. I had one of the Indigo girls buy my most loved painting "Steam Punk Dreams" and was extremely happy to see this artwork make its way into a wonderful home! I made a number of connections with Saidi Hayat Women's Art, advocate, Ben Wei amazing surfboard sculptor - who I also had a lovely Art barter with sending him off with "Eugene" another painting, Muralist and Designer Thiago Taipan and designer from Brasil, and Isabella Chydenius from Scandinavia working and exhibiting in South Africa (hooking me up with a residency), and surf master Shingo Takahasi! Overall this was an amazing experience, selling, exhibiting and networking with amazing people and amazing artists all over the world. "It was like the United Nations of artists. Never have I been to such a spread of lifestyle not to mention global creators and imagineers. To zoom out and witness myself apart of the event was eye opening. Knowing that such an experience was open to me and so many others from everywhere I wasn't was a humbling eye opener.
